This book is a great read when you just need to get out of your own head for a while. Don't we all?? The main characters really made me feel for them and at times I wanted to slap them, but that's what makes a good book- the characters are so real, you feel empathy with them. Loved it, highly recommend it! Can't wait to read more books from this author!Product details

Annie has recently divorced and is now looking for love again. Her best friend, Sam, gets her to agree to go out with five guys from the online dating site that she recently joined. I was amazed at how her dates turned out. Are there really guys out there like that? There were some very humorous situations, that's for sure. I love the way Annie gets so emotional about Shane and assumes that she knows all about his type, yet upon self-examination, realizes that maybe he sees her in a similar way. Annie is a very no-nonsense girl and I love how she handles some of those awkward dates and situations.
Shane hasn't ever recovered from the broken heart he suffered from years ago, yet he finds himself going on one bad date to the next, with drama and crazies at every turn. Shane has been burned, yet he tortures himself with the dating scene, just in case he can find that special someone. He comes across as tough, but he's got a heart of gold--he's an amazing teacher and not everyone can do that. I love the part when he takes his dog, Tiny, in to be checked out for fleas.
Shane and Annie meet in such a sweet way but their insecurities and assumptions lead to misunderstandings and obstacles that may prove to be too great to overcome. With a story built upon misconceptions, I wasn't sure how things would work out, but they did. I loved it!
Content minimal swearing; no violence; kissing--no intimate details. Clean!

Annie Morgan, newly divorced, finds herself agreeing to join an online dating service at the insistence of her best friend. Agreeing to five dates only, Annie meets some of the most unsuitable people possible. The only man she meets who holds her interest is one not met through the service. Every time she runs into Shane Nicholls, literally for the most part, she feels an intense connection.
Shane is convince that all women are trouble, he wants to find someone nice and normal. Does this exist? Running into Annie is a shock to his system, he doesn’t understand the connection. When he keeps running into her the feeling grows each time. When they booth keep seeing the other out with different people every time they both seem to assume the other is a player, which is rather funny.
When Shane turns up at Annie’s place of work, with yet another woman, Annie decides that she needs to put Shane out of her mind once and for all. Easier said than done…
Shane reaching a similar conclusion after seeing Annie with another man, decides he needs to do something drastic to forget her.
Can the pair sort it before it’s too late?
Another good, clean read by Mya O’Malley. A really sweet tale of how circumstances can be viewed from another’s perspective. Is there really such a thing as love at first sight? Reading this I would definitely say yes. Really good read. Suitable for all.
A real page turner read this as a favor to a friend and got hooked I highly recommend this book to lovers everywhere
This story enlightens a parent by opening up their eyes to the new world of technology and dating. Thank you Mya O'Malley.
This was ok, I wasn't sad to have read it, but some stilted parts in the writing made it just not flow or be that great of a read for me. I am not sure I would read it again. It was clean, but with the cute cover, I was kind of hoping for something more...
At First Sight was a delightful story of love at first sight, sweet and charming characters well written and intriguing. I loved the fact that it was clean and fresh, and held your interest and attention from start to finish! Very pleasant and refreshing read, I highly recommend Mya O'Malley as a new romance writer!
Once again, Mya O'Malley tells a great love story without the use of vulgarity and sex. I loved Shane and Annie's story; it almost makes me believe in love at first sight. Can't wait to read more from Mya!!
